As a designer, I ______
> build design rationales around user research insights and business data.
I work closely with the business planning and data experimentation teams, alongside product managers, engineers, and researchers, to show how design impacts business results using objective data and portal tracking. This has led to design changes that brought in over six-figure ACRs within four weeks, becoming a model for other teams. Together with key partners, we formed a v-team to create guidelines and offer advice on design experiments.
> drive strategic team alignment cross-disciplines
Working with the back-end engineering and product teams gave me new challenges and showed the need to improve the product team’s UX skills. So, I created a better design process that includes workshops for planning new products and clear design documents explaining ideas visually and in writing. This helped make design a key part of the business strategy and early product development. Now, product owners can share their vision with leaders and engineers early on, and I can explain design plans in advance to prevent API issues and create a smooth user experience.
> love contributing to knowledge sharing and foster an inclusive team environment
Since school years, I have always been passionate about building communities. Upon joining Microsoft, I continue to dedicate time and efforts into culture building events within and beyond my own design team through multiple Azure organization wide v-teams to host and facilitate talks/events including but not limited to topics such as “From an IC to a Manager“, “Career Journey sharing among leaders”, and “Designing for an accessible CLI experience”.
